The Holy Art Fair at Brick Lane in Shoreditch…But 1st I ended up at the ” Holy Art HQ” ..Google maps sent me there 1st ( don’t ask,the map went bonkers!!) But there had a good show of arts thete too and then I moved onto the old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane were the exhibtion was held. It was an absolute delight for art enthusiasts like myself. The event showcased a cornucopia of art styles and disciplines, leaving me in a state of sensory overload. The range of styles was truly impressive, spanning from the technical to the outrageous.

One artist that caught my attention was Panicos, who crafted incredible Sci-fi terminator-style sculptures using scrap metals. It was fascinating to see how he transformed discarded materials into works of art. Another artist, Parasramka, showcased technical precision in his work, but also infused it with a sense of freedom, which was a refreshing combination.

Ck Chiu’s artwork stood out with its vibrant colors and a style reminiscent of Hello Kitty. What intrigued me the most was that each piece had a unique story behind it. I had the opportunity to have a deep conversation with artist Marta Sookia, who I shared some valuable tips with her to help her on way in the art world.Shr thanked me for the knowledge i shared with her.

Lastly, I had the pleasure of encountering an up-and-coming artist who reminded me of the great Jean-Michel Basquiat. A father and his little son collaborated to create artworks that paid homage to Basquiat’s style. The little boy even tried to convince me to purchase his artwork, which showcased his enthusiasm and talent.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at The Holy Art Fair. It provided a much-needed escape from a difficult week and allowed me to immerse myself in the immense talanet and variety of work exhibted.
