This is Tim and myself.( and no I am not smiling!)
Well after bumping into artist Tim by accident, I was personally invited to his private view on the 9th March 2018 and the 3 other artist group exhibition at the Paxton Arms Hotel, 52 Anerley Hill, London SE19 2AE. This Centre has CAFE, ART SPACES AND CLASSES IN CRYSTAL PALACE. At our community arts space we offer the opportunity for local artists, designers and makers for a monthly residency to promote and sell their work in our art and craft gallery and shop. I have exhibited alongside time at other venues include “The Bellebury Deli” in Beckenham. He is a very accomplished artist in his own right; he paints the local scenes from Beckenham, Bromley. The 3 other artists showing with Tim are David Moore, Sue Dunlop and Bob Jessamine. Tims work is always at a very high level and always enjoyable to view. His work is very varied and no 2 artworks are the same. I was very taken with David Moores work, the brushwork and subject matter is very fantastic. All in all a very cosy and great little venue and would recommend to anyone to attend. It runs from the 1st of March to the 31st March…Don’t Be a stranger….Edwin

David Moore’s work, beautiful ccolours but ever so delicate brush work.
Tim chillin out at the Paxton.
This is entitled “Light & Shade” and I mentioned to Tim that it reminded me of the artist that painted the image of a guy with a apple face and a bowler hat, he she yes it was his homage to “Magritte”. This is so subtle that it delicately plants the image in you head and you make the connection without knowing it. that’s the magic of Tim’s work.
